Adobe Premiere Elements 3!
After a little research I found the best program to do video editing in, Adobe Premiere Elements 3! I should have known it would be a program from Adobe, duh. So this past week I've been learning and playing around with that. But of course, nothing can be easy can it? I figured since I still had some video I haven't captured from my camcorder I'd practice on that, it should be quick right? Wrong. It wasn't the program that gave me problems, it was the camcorder. First of all my computer wouldn't install the driver for it, so I had to install it on my laptop, then the sound wouldn't capture for some reason. I tried different programs and then finally it worked in Windows Movie Maker (the last place you'd think). After that, the quality is horrible, looks worse than VHS. I can't take it back to the store, it's been too long, I should have captured the movies off sooner. Anyway, I went ahead and put the captures in order, added some titles and effects, and it's encoding it right now. It sure is going slow, I think it's going to take all night, and my computer is pretty decent. Strange.
Anyway, I'm pretty comfortable with the program, got the basics down and all. I'll be making my first video soon, I'm just working on my list of stuff to talk about in my intro video.
